Beavers Bend Resort Park

The Scenic beauty of Beaver's Bend Resort Park makes it one of Oklahoma 's
most popular resort areas. The crystal clear water of the lake and river, as well
as the 100 foot pine trees, makes the park the perfect location for your next
outing.  Much of the charm of Beavers Bend Resort Park lies in the fact that
when the park was built in 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the
materials of choice came from the land itself: slabs on native stone, and
hardwood timbers thicker than a man's chest. From them, CCC crews fashioned
cabins, stair-cases, fireplaces, campsites, and even the Forest Heritage Center
and Museum, which now doubles as the Beavers Bend Resort Park office.
Beavers Bend Resort Park is located six miles north of Broken Bow on Hwy 259
north, turn right on 259a to the park. If you want privacy in a natural setting
with all of the comforts of home, join us at Beavers Bend Resort Park .
Broken Bow Lake

McCurtain County is the place to visit for all kinds of water sports!
Start with Broken Bow Lake with over 14,000 acres of pristine deep
water lake. Broken Bow Lake is incredibly clear and cool because its 180
miles of shore is lined with the forest covered Kiamichi Mountains , not
commercial development.

Bring your own boat or rent a wide variety of water craft at the lake
including ski boats, pontoon boats and house boats. You can also rent jet
skis, canoes, paddle boats and inner tubes. Snorkeling and scuba diving is
also very popular because of the clear water of Broken Bow Lake and
scuba rental and support is available
This scenic area known for its luscious green forests
and abundance of clear water provides a fun filled
environment for many popular outdoor activities such
as canoing, boating, hiking, bird watching, golfing,
scuba diving, hunting, mountain biking, camping,
horseback riding, four wheeling, and all types of
fishing. Whether you're fishing for trout in streams
that are stocked year round or canoing the rapids of
the Lower Mountain Fork, there is an outdoor
activity suited for all ages and seasons.
